Hello, I am the lead admin of TouhouFest’s Discord server, Mikotan. Today, I would like to show what we have in store for TouhouFest!

So far, we have announced 4 guests for next year’s Inaugural TouhouFest: Tessiro (Hisoutensoku Gamer/Commentator), Punderfullll (Cosplayer and Streamer), Gensokyo Radio (internet radio show), and Lyrica Live (Music Performance and Songwriter). We’ve also announced 2 official artists, and many affiliates and collaborators.

Attendees can expect a festival-like event with heavy focus on the Touhou community, games, cosplay gatherings, music and games. We have vendors, an artist alley and a large gaming hall. The event is taking place on April 29-30th, 2023 at the Torrance Cultural Arts Center in Torrance, California in the United States. 

Our event is focused on the Touhou community and its various components, such as the games, cosplay, panels, lore, art and music.

Other than that, we want to show that this is a great venue for Touhou fans to be able to come together and have a place (not just online) to meet with each other, socialize and network. In regards to holding an international event, that’s not out of the realm of possibility and we certainly wouldn’t mind doing so! We will see as the time comes.
